The Role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you love connecting with people and being the go-to support when it matters most? We’re looking for someone special to become the face and voice of our Money Matters team – a caring professional who will support tenants, promote financial wellbeing, and be a trusted guide for those navigating tough times.
At The Housing Plus Group, we believe that everyone deserves to live well in their home. Our Money Matters service is here to make that possible — and you could be the heart of it.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Representing our service at community events, local hubs, and outreach activities.
- Being a friendly first point of contact for tenants, offering essential support and guidance around benefits, energy advice, and financial crises.
- Promoting our services through creative marketing campaigns — from social media to face-to-face engagement.
- Working with vulnerable people, building trusted relationships that lead to real outcomes.
- Supporting tenants with income checks and access to furniture, household items, and financial help.
- Linking customers to digital, employability, and training opportunities with warmth and empathy.
- Resolving issues by working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Is community-minded and genuinely passionate about helping others thrive.
- Is a natural connector — someone who listens, communicates clearly, and builds meaningful relationships.
- Has experience supporting vulnerable individuals and understands the importance of dignity and trust.
- Is confident in marketing — whether that’s writing a social post, speaking at an event, or helping shape our messaging.
- Can think on their feet, bringing issues to resolution with creativity, persistence, and care.
- Is a great team player with the drive to work independently and proactively.
- Holds a full driving licence and is happy to travel across our communities.
What we can offer you
We offer a comprehensive induction programme and excellent learning opportunities; with mandatory and specialist training available, we can offer 22 days increasing to 30 days annual leave, bank holidays and three discretionary days over Christmas period. We also offer the option to join our competitive contributory pension scheme, access to employee assistance programme, eye care vouchers, life assurance, free onsite parking and cycle to work scheme.
You won’t just be starting a job — you’ll be joining a mission. You’ll work in a supportive, forward-thinking organisation that values innovation, compassion, and community connection. Every day, your work will directly impact people’s lives for the better.
